This past spring Natl Grid inspected my gas meter but instead found a problem with the furnace and chimney entrance . He proceeded to turn off the gas until I resolved the problem. They came back, turned the gas on to the appliances but neglected to light the pilot in the furnace which I only realized when I turned the heat on. Natl Grid refused to come insisting the pilot was on. My former plumber had retired. I needed a plumber but had no recommendations for someone in the area. Nice agent. Help me to repair furnace within one week. Since the part that need to be repair for the furnace it is hard to find.
