Dr. Schultz has demonstrated his surgical incompetence and implicit bias. My mother, a previously very active woman who is severely limited by hip osteoarthritis pain, is an excellent surgical candidate. Active, no other health problems, willing to fully engage in postoperative therapy. Yet, this “Dr.” is apparently incompetent to operate on her until she is WELL beyond the recommended guidelines. (Guidelines: She should lose 1.5lbs, Dr. Schultz: you have to lose 20lbs before I will consider scheduling surgery!) for LESS THA... read more
