D&S was prompt to quote and complete the work. However, my bill ended up being approximately $250 (20%) higher than the original estimate I was given. I inquired as to why this was, and they told me it was for the removal of the existing gutters. The problem with that was that their quote said it included the removal of the existing gutters. Overall their work was good but I was disappointed in their changing of the price after the fact.
Business response:
Original estimate was without removal because customer was going to remove himself. So there was a discount applied for original estimate. Customer changed his mind and requested D & S remove and add additional downspout. This increased the overall total billed. Customer was informed of additions. As a courtesy D & S Guttering honored the original bid and refunded $242.
