If you are technically inclined, working with Steve is a treat. He is truly an expert and a wealth of valuable knowledge. If you are not interested, know that you are getting very good service. I did check around for our Jeep, Steve was far better in his approach and far cheaper for the service. Many shops do a full range of repairs but it's doubtful that they are experts in A/C. I highly recommend D&S and strongly support good shops like this!
I took a 45 year old barn fine to Steve as no one wanted to work on it as no parts were available. Steve took it on, it was a major job which also included rat damage but Steve did it all. Removed the entire dash fan and control units, even replaced the speedometer cable and all A/C components needing to make many parts. Put it all back together and it works great. I recommend Steve to anyone needing A/C work hole heartily.
Called for help to fix a bad AC coil. Owner wasn’t able to help due to packed schedule, but was able to walk me thru the whole process on the phone, plus tons of tips and tricks, which were super helpful to turn this job into a simple DIY project. Whether you are looking for someone to fix your ac properly or simply asking for advice, this shop definitely delivers
Whenever I ran my A/C for more than 20 minutes I had a bunch of water running down from under my dash on the interior passenger side foot well. Explained the situation to Steve and he immediately knew what was going on, had it handled in no time, taught me how to maintain the system that had been clogged, and charged me a very affordable service fee. I had a great experience at D&S and will recommend this business to others.
The AC on my BMW 535i had not been working for a couple of months and I was hesitant to bring it in for repairs thinking that it might be very expensive. If you've ever owned a BMW, you know what I'm talking about! I met a mechanic that referred Steve at D&S Auto Air.
