The taste of the cake was amazing. The decorating was not impressive. The lady called me on my wedding day to tell me Noone was at the venue to let her in. The wedding was at the botanical gardens and she was delivering during business hours so there was plenty of people there.
I went to this place yesterday 11/15/2016 to pick out a birthday cake for my daughter. I took her with me but the owner (lady) was very rude and stared at my daughter with such like a disgusted bothered face because my 7 year old daughter needed to use the restroom. Is that how you treat your customers? I paid $900 for cupcakes and a two tiered cake, nothing complex. The cupcakes were dry and not tasty at all. The two tiered cake was small, nothing like the samples we tried or the image we were shown or discussed. Total rip off, I'm never referring anyone to this place or buying a cake from here. HEB bakery is better and you'll save a ton of money!
I just want to said: Thank you so much Roxana!! I have used Cakes by D' Pasteles Cake Shop for the last two years, since Roxana did one of my quinceanera cakes. Everyone absolutely loved the cake and the way it tasted. I have used her on several occasions for various events because they are the best tasting cakes in the area. The cakes are also beautifully decorated. Very professional service and locally convenient. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Not only that, it was SOOO good to eat! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED HER!
