I rented through d and m for a year, and it was the worst renting experience ever. They came into my appt without callinh. I had mold and they blamed it on me saying my appt was too cold. Their solution for the problem? Turn my heater all on high and open the windows. Not to mention it is impossible to get your deposit back and they will not fill out appt verification forms so my 1 year lease with them was as usless as me being a new rentor
I was pregnant when a few short weeks after we moved in the sewer started backing up into the bathtubs in both bathrooms. D&M told us to go to a neighbors to use the toilet or shower. When we demanded that they put us in a hotel until they could fix it, they said they would be unable to repay us until they found out if we were at fault or not, Well we were not at fault for the sewer mishap and it took them 6 weeks of us hounding them to finally reimburse us for the hotel.
