Update: Very happy with the time and cost of my repair. Found myself a mechanic I trust. Took my 2005 Trailblazer in for an estimate on clunking sound it was starting to make and within an hour I knew what was needed. Doug (mechanic) and Michelle (manager) were both very pleasant to interact with and patient with all my questions. Felt good with price quoted and taking it back to have them do the needed repair. I had a unique situation in that I bought a car for a friend that lives in Cleburne and he was not able to get the car’s catalytic converter fixed so it would pass the emission test. I live in Fort Worth so I looked online and found D&J auto that was close to where the car was and had good reviews. Not only did they fix the car quickly, but they even took it to get the emissions test for me so I didn’t have to drive to Cleburne (and it passed the test)! They were very nice, dependable and helpful.
