Three years ago, today I had an anterior posterior lumbar fusion done on my L5-S1 spine at Jefferson Hospital through Rothman of King Of Prussia with Dr. D Greg Anderson. Dr. Anderson was introduced to me by Kelly Doyle, CEO of Rothman. WOW! Was I blessed the day I met him. I could barely walk on and off for 12 years previous to his surgery on my back. The only scar was an inch or 2 long. He used titanium screws and spacers and cleaned the canals in my discs where the nerve was getting smashed causing excruciating pain down my leg. Dr. Greg Anderson, M.D. has an open, friendly demeanor, shakes your hand and listens to your concerns. He explains the ex-rays and the operation to be performed. There was no need to probe but any questions you may have are answered. He does have you walk checking gate and what problems you may have. After a three-month healing process, specific exercises are given along with therapy. He made me feel comfortable knowing my life will get back to normal.
