This is the crew you want. The company owner asks the right questions & answers questions with choices offered. No nonsense, diligent & timely work, courteous, respectful of the property, and overall, zero complaints. We paid 43K for an 820 ft deck in cedar, on a variable slope, with a set of stairs on one end and a gate on the other, plus a robust hot tub pad that exceeded expectations. I would recommend D & D Decking. They replaced our somewhat complicated multi-level elevated front porch just as I drew it up in pencil and they did it on budget and on schedule. The slope and elevation change from flat at the driveway to 8 feet at the door and steps going off at a different direction was not simple but they executed it perfectly. Eliud and the D&D crew were prompt to respond to my request for a quote. They arrived at my place and took the necessary measurements and provided a quote before the day was over. The quoted estimate was the most reasonable one I received among multiple vendors that I had approached. The work was started on time as promised. I have a deck with an 18' 6x6 pt that I felt needed to be replaced due to some cracking. I called up D&D Decking and More to come out to my house in SW Portland and give me a price to replace the deck post. Eliud showed up right as scheduled and after taking a look at he suggested I save my money and repair it myself. He went over how to accomplish the simple repair and where to buy the needed materials. Not many other contractors would have done this. Thanks for your honesty!
