After many visits to assisted living facilities across the Lowcountry, I knew this was the place for my mom when I walked through the door. It is a smaller, cozy community that has a very pleasant and caring staff. Mom has been there for a month and a half now, and she is receiving great care...from good meals, to PT/OT visits, opportunities to go on outings, and plenty of activities within the building itself. This little mini mansion in Summerville is the cutest and their staff tries so hard to keep up with everyone's needs. This is a great option if you have a senior in your life that needs more care than you can offer them at home and has great social hours with Bible studies, BINGO, etc. This place was great to Grandmama.
My mom has lived at Cypress Square for over 2 years. She is safe and comfortable there. The staff members are kind, caring and responsive to her needs and concerns. There is a definite family atmosphere. The food is nutritious and appetizing and there are plenty of activities for the residents. I would recommend Cypress Square for your family members.
