I would strongly discourage anyone from renting here. My experience at Cypress Lake Apartments was extremely disappointing. The management was unhelpful when issues were reported, communication was poor, and I felt like concerns were ignored rather than addressed. The condition of the apartment did not meet my expectations, and I experienced ongoing problems that made living there stressful. Cypress Lake is a beautiful property. The lake provides a peaceful and calm atmosphere and the walking trail around it is great for getting exercise. The apartments are spacious and it is a quiet complex close to all of the restaurants, shopping and entertainment Baton Rouge has to offer. And the ladies in the office, Gabby and Shelby are very kind and helpful.
We had an incredible tour at Cypress Lake with Makayla Hope! She was so helpful, professional, and honestly made the whole experience fun. She answered all our questions and made us feel right at home. The property is beautiful and we are so excited about the possibility of moving in soon. Highly recommend touring with her!
This has been one of the worst living experiences I’ve ever had. I dealt with serious pest problems, including roaches and what I believe were bed bugs. It was not a minor issue — it felt constant and stressful. No one should have to worry about being bitten or seeing bugs in their own home. I would not recommend living here based on my experience. During my time at this complex, I dealt with ongoing pest issues, including what appeared to be roaches and possibly bed bugs. Despite reporting the problem multiple times, I did not feel that it was handled effectively or with urgency. Management was extremely difficult to communicate with.
