6 months after my daughters appointment to remove a mole I get a pathology bill for $300. I never requested or approved for anything to be sent out. The office has said that because I signed all of the generic forms at the beginning of my appointment that they may send off anything to pathology even - without prior approval and without a defined or estimated cost - even though I had a conversation with the doctor in the room at the time of the procedure and we decided it did not need to be sent to pathology. Went to an evaluation for two Pilar cysts on my head. Was asked to make an appointment for the removal. I went to my surgery appointment today. Once I was in the room they informed me they could only remove one, and if I wanted the second one removed I would have to pay out of pocket. It was all confusing. Had an appointment with Dr Campbell and after 30 minutes past my appointment time i asked how much longer and was told another 10 to 15 minutes. I left. Thats ridiculous.

The medical assistant told me that they can’t control the cost and they do it so that they don’t miss anything. I told her I am not paying it! I get to decide!
