I have lived at Cypres Cove for almost 4 years and I still love my apartment. I have never had a monthly increase, but my rent has increased each year. I think the most was $40 or something. I'm in a 1 bedroom apartment and I wish the bedroom was bigger, but the living room in huge so it's ok. I like having the park next door and I like the new recycling at the back. The people in the office have always been nice and the maintenance guys are great.

CHARLESTONIANS BEWARE: Please I urge you NOT to consider this place. The apartments are nice but they come at a heavy cost. I've been a resident for years and have always paid on time and have always talked well of the property when people ask me but that has all changed. When life threw me a curve ball and I needed to break my lease they said the only way you can do this is by paying them $2500! They will also increase the rent every year by upwards of $100 per month! Don't get sucked in by the columns and fireplaces this p... read more

The apartments are nice but they come at a heavy cost. Rent increases upwards of $100 per month, and a mere $2500 to get out of your lease but if you sign a shorter lease term then the monthly rent is increased. Don't get sucked into this place. I've lined their corporate pockets for years and they have no regard for humanity or for life changes. Did I mention the blue recycle bin they had at the mail boxes was never used for recycling. When I asked about the recycling for this huge community they said, you can take it to th... read more

Wife and I lived in the apartments for 1 year. Just like the other reviewer mentioned, the walls are paper thin. The tenants above us were consistently in domestic disputes. We had to call the police five times over the course of a year. Each time we called the police we also contacted the apartment management. They did not do anything about the situation even when I pointed out that they were in breach of contract since no domestic disputes or drug use was allowed in the apartments. As far as the apartment itself we also ha... read more

This is a completely honest evaluation of this complex, for you the consumer.I have lived there for 6 months. I have to say first that it is a nice, clean area. The apt are big and from what i have seen make for decent living. there is a park right near it so its good for outdoors. BUT!!! Why i highly advise against living here, and medical travelers..BE WARNED.. it is extremely LOUD! the walls are so thin. the upstairs is so loud you can hear every step people take!! its absolutley ANNOYING! YOU will HATE it.. i cant wait t... read more
