I have known Dr. Waickus since the early 2000’s. She may not always give you the warmest bedside manner, but she is the person you want advocating for you. I trust my children under her care and never felt the need to question if we need a pediatrician for a PCP. If she doesn’t know something she will tell you and look it up. She is very honest and I respect that.
I had a very disappointing experience with Cynthia Waickus. I came in after a serious hospitalization and am currently under the care of multiple specialists, but there was no physical exam—she stayed at the computer the entire time, questioning and contradicting both me and my care team. She made several condescending and inappropriate comments, including correcting me that other providers are “not doctors,” asking if I “leave the house without brushing your teeth every day” when discussing exercise, and saying my situation... read more
DR. Waickus is great! She provides excellent patient care, great chair side manners, effective listening skills....and follow-up! Very responsive
