I waited a month to get an appointment for scabies infestation! I had previously been prescribed internal ivermectin by a walk in and told to go to a dermatologist.. I waited a month for an appointment, Even though I told them I had scabies, By the time I got there I was infested in my scalp particularly. Her PA told me I was crazy! Fortunately I have a wonderful PCP/rheum, who treated me after he saw my symptoms. In fact he spotted them! I’m still waiting for a telephone call Dr. Halcin???
My family has gone to her for over 10 years. She is amazing at finding skin cancer while it is still on the surface, less than 1/2 the thickness of a piece of paper!! I have many, MANY moles and she knows what she is looking for. I trust her judgement completely and would never go elsewhere. However bring a coat to her office because a paper gown will NOT keep you warm! I recommend her highly!!
She is caring and expert at diagnosing and treating problems.
