I have never in my life been so upset with a doctor/ NP before. I started going to her back in August. All 3 times I have gone to her office, I feel like my symptoms have completely been disregarded. I am struggling with my fibromyalgia and my symptoms have been getting worse and worse. She keeps questioning me on who diagnosed me with this and makes it seem like she doesn’t believe that I Have this despite the information I give her and what my charts say (I get some people used to think fibromyalgia wasn’t a thing…. I went to her a few times and both times my symptoms were disregarded. She told me women under the age of 40 do not struggle with hormone imbalance so we should not test for that. I have never in my life felt angry after leaving an appointment, but she is by far the worst NP I have seen. She is the reason women don't trust the medical system. Come to find out my hormones were imbalanced and it was causing me to have recurring miscarriages which would have been caught had she not REFUSED to draw blood.

Dr. Armstrong is very attentive and listens to me. I can tell she cares and wants to get me in the best health possible. You have to do the work as well. You can't expect miracles from a Dr. There's good reason they don't do everything a patient demands. They are the Dr after all. She is helping me after years with no medical attention and I am blessed to have found such a good Dr.
