My experience here started off quite well actually, took care of my reservation over the phone the day before my vacation, rented a bike for the week and it was delivered and waiting for me by the time I arrived the next day. Went on two 20 mile bike rides without incident then on my 3rd ride in the last .5 mile of a 28 mile ride the front wheel all of a sudden failed. When we rent a bicycle to someone we make sure that it is safe to ride. An experienced mechanic checks the bike and it is test ridden before it is delivered. The bicycle that was delivered to Mr. Yurek was in good working condition. The wheels were true and the spokes were properly tensioned. But the bicycle that came back from Mr. Yurek had a front wheel damaged beyond repair due to the crash that he had. The wheel was twisted out of shape by the impact of a crash. Best bike shop anywhere! Courteous, knowledgeable and very fair prices.
I brought my old bike to cyclopedia for what I thought was going to be an expensive tune up. Aaron started fine tuning it, and adjustment here, some spray lubrication there, and VOILA....it was fixed!!! I didn't pay anywhere near what I had expected. Can't thank this establishment enough for what they did. I highly recommend Cyclopedia!
