This review is for the office staff, as I've never met with a therapist. The only pro was the quick communication. Cons are they try to basically bait-and-switch you to work with their least-desired therapist and lie to you repeatedly: - I inquire about a specific therapist, they call back and tell me that they have availability and take my insurance. Great, so I spend 30+ mins filling in their paperwork. - They call the next day to say that this one therapist actually doesn't take my insurance but others do (what? ok...), I... read more
Was put on a wait list for my child 6 months ago. A month ago they reached out saying that I need to fill out the intake forms every 30 days (nobody ever told me this nor did anyone ask during the prior 5 months this should have been an issue). I then receive a call saying my insurance isn't active (it is as it is state insurance) and they wanted me to call my insurance company to verify that it was in fact still active (it is). The professionals I worked with were fantastic. But, the whole experience was ruined by the billing department and management. It's been well over a year since I've been under their care and just got a charge on my credit card for a full session. I reached out via email and never heard back. I called in a week later and spoke with a very nice woman who told me she'd review and get back to me. I then waited another week and never heard back- so I called in again. This started out as a great practice. They actually work with my insurance and the people there are nice. I made a lot of progress in a few weeks and realized that i needed to work with a couples therapist. I reached out to this company to look for a couples therapist, and again, the people there helped a lot. However, after talking with at least three people about changing to couples therapy instead of individual, nobody ever told me that I needed to be in individual therapy in order to qualify for couples therapy. This practice is wonderful! They are very responsive to anything I outreach about and take the time to explain to me anything I don't understand bc insurance plans can be confusing. Any therapists I have seen has been great!
