From 2017 until September 2025, CVS Specialty reliably delivered my Hizentra every month. Then, despite no insurance change, the problems began. Hizentra is not optional for me. It is immunoglobulin replacement therapy for an immune deficiency. Yet for months CVS Specialty repeatedly delayed my medication, each time giving a different explanation: prior authorization, insurance, prescription, manufacturer assistance, Medicare, address issues, or account problems. Called to fill a prescription. No call wait time and I was helped immediately. The pharmacist I spoke with was helpful and friendly!
Always super friendly and overly helpful staff!
1 month trying to get a script filled. Over an hour on the phone. Updated insurance information given to them and then they call me back asking if I’ve updated my insurance is updated. They never saved it. I then got a call from someone saying that she’s my assigned rep and that she will call me back at a certain time the next day. Never called me back. I have absolutely no idea how this place is being run, but it needs some major changes.
