While RVing in the area I tried to get a prescription filled. I’ve had this prescription filled all across this country easy to west and north to south, including in California. It’s hard to say if the CVS staff and pharmacist are obtuse or inept but my doc submitted this prescription every way possible and the pharmacy still failed to fill it.

Staff are unhelpful and difficult to work with. The pharmacist has let my medication go out of stock multiple times because he refuses to order outside of the "preferred manufacturer". Avoid at all costs.

I urgently needed antibiotics before crossing into Canada--my provider sent in the rx at 3:45pm on a Friday afternoon and despite there being a long line and a busy counter, my rx was filled minutes later! Gal behind the counter was very pleasant. Just wanted to give this team a shout out for helping to save me from a weekend of discomfort!

They don't want to talk to customers. Called the pharmacy. No one pick up. They say leave a message and someone will call back "within the hour". Left a message at 5pm. No call. Called again. Again no return call. Best to go elsewhere. CVS doesn't care.
