Megan was discharged from Riley with a script to continue on a med she was started on last week. Dropped it off Tuesday first thing. Got a call about 30 min later from CVS saying it needed a pre-auth from insurance or it’d be $1123 out of pocket. Still no approval so I go to CVS to pay the $1123 for it for fear that she will tank again without it, and was told they don’t even have it in stock and I need to call around to other CVS to see if they have it! CHANGE the 24 hr signs... The Pharmacy is only open till Midnight
What is the reasoning behind having multiple signs lit up on your property stating open twenty four hours? Do you get some kind of cheap thrill out of misleading the public? Then what's with the people behind the cage that ignore your presence? Then finally the gate is opened only for you to wait some more for the operators to "wake Up" their computers.
I understand the decision for the Pharmacy not to be open 24 hours anymore, but closing Pharmacy at 8pm on Saturday night. Poor decision. I will be taking my business elsewhere - to a pharmacy that has more convenient hours.
