My wife was diagnosed with diabetes, and gave her Montelukast instead of Janumet (fortunately, I Googled before she took the asthma drug for diabetes). We understood, everyone makes mistakes and weren't upset until she asked for money back on wrong drug and they refused. Said she accepted it and it's her responsibility. Amazing. Pharmacists are responsible to administer correct drug - if lay people knew every drug off the tops of our heads, why would we need them?
