After three negative experiences here— prescriptions not being done when notified, a disgruntled pharmacist who “wasn’t able to see from the pediatrician in their system and was not kind in dealing with it, and arriving at almost 10am and they still haven’t opened— we are going to move our Rxs to Publix. The convenience of being inside Target is great, but everything else seems to be lackluster.
I have never struggled more to get medications filled than I have at this location without them showing as pending or getting rejected. When I go to the CVS down the road, I don’t have the same issue. I’m not sure how medications a doctor prescribes can be rejected because the pharmacist does not share the same opinion but the pharmacist down the road doesn’t have an issue with it. This is the best CVS Pharmacy location in Chesterfield, VA. Both Pharmacists are knowledgeable, patient, and informative and their staff are efficient . Registering for vaccines online facilitates a smooth process upon arrival. I've also never had any problems with medication pick up. The work area is brightly lit, sanitized and all pharmacy staff work together as a team. Kudos!!!
