My mom was discriminated while she picked up her medicine, she gave the pharmacist an ID that showed that she’s from Ecuador, the pharmacist instantly said “we don’t accept identifications from Mexico” that was completely racist and unnecessary, and the end they did accept her id The name of the pharmacist is Jiya, she acts in a completely different way with me and I suppose is because my skin is whiter than my mom’s Our community faces discrimination everywhere but I would’ve never thought that my mom would face discriminat... read more
Horrible. The pharmacist (young woman, black hair, crutches) believes if she was not the employee whom you spoke with on the phone (and was assured the prescription would be available on a certain date), that it is not her problem and, of course, absolutely the situation is not her fault and a simple insincere ‘sorry’ is good enough for the miscommunication. Unacceptable. You’re the pharmacist. Leadership comes from the top.
Had the unpleasant experience of dealing with staff we called Pharmacy Karen. We were there for vaccines. She was short, condescending, and very rude from the start. I gave her attitude right back to her and she ran like bullies usually do. She told us she was going to “get the pharmacist” in a tone like she was telling on us for something. Then we got to wait for quite a while. Finally got our shots and left but it was a ridiculously long time for an empty pharmacy. Done with this location.
