Everything is locked up. You can ring and ring the buzzer but sometimes no one comes to unlock the toilet paper locked up like the gold in Fort Knox. They then take the items behind the front desk to wait for you to pay in case you will be thieving it. Baskets and carts are banned — you had to carry everything loose in your arms like a discombobulated professor. They need to just rely on security guard and not all this nonsense.
Dropped off my disposable camera here with priceless vacation photos, staff forgot to send it to be disposed and then damaged the camera in sending to be processed. Incredible unhappy and disappointed in loosing my photos and for the poor service from this store. DO NOT USE! DO NOT SHOP HERE unless you want to feel like a criminal when buying paper towels. Everything is locked up. Even more insultingly, they won't let you walk around the store with locked up items. It's obviously a super racist policy from CVS HQ aimed at Black residents here in DC. A total disgrace. Whatever you need, walk two blocks down NY Ave to Safeway, where nothing is locked up. It's probably cheaper there too.
The staff members are kind and many items are well organized.
