I cannot recommend Dr. Alisha Lindberg for anyone who requires trauma-informed care. Before my exam, I explicitly explained that I have PTSD from medical labor/delivery trauma and need a patient, trauma-informed approach because visits may trigger me. My boundaries were completely ignored. During the exam, she pressed for distressing details, rushed through the process while I expressed my discomfort, and pressured me into decisions while I was still on the exam table. I saw Dr. Julie Steinhauser and unfortunately would not recommend her. UPDATE: I unfortunately had to see Dr. Julie Steinhauser for a pre-op for CRMC as she was my only option. Again, she does not care and it blows my mind how bad a doctor can be. Here was my original review when I considered establishing care with her. What a waste of time. Dr. Steinhauser seems to be one of those doctors that throws drugs at the problem without considering symptoms or the big picture. Whatever happened to “treat the person not the disease?... read more
