Licensed contractor here, and I have been asking Jeremy at Cutting Edge Painting to paint my buildings for the last fourteen years. The first challenge for him at Blue Skies Inn was the 1871 carriage house built by the founder of Manitou Springs whose home was the Briarhurst next door. Jeremy and his team are amazing. You can't go wrong choosing them for your next project. They tackled our home that was covered in 37 yr old wallpaper, texturized and painted our walls to perfection. The attention to detail was incredible. The price was spot on and work ethic was something that is hard to find these days. Thank you!!! Very happy customers!
Only three years later and I’m going to have to repaint the house. The non English speaking crew is subcontracted, and the owner only checks in periodically. Now that I’ve had to do more interviews to have my darn house repainted already, I know now that Cutting Edge should have power washed all the dirt from the house before painting over years of neglect before we bought the house. They also should have back brushed as they were spraying to make sure the paint got into the woodgrain. The seams between boards were not caulk... read more
