Wendy is fantastic I have been going to The Cutting Edge for about 1.5 years. Wendy, my stylist who is also the owner, is absolutely fantastic for cuts and highlights. My hair is now much easier to care for and I have had many compliments on both the cut and the way that the highlights were done. The only downside is that parking is tricky. Best Mens Haricut I've ever had I've been all over the triangle looking for that salon to call home. A place that isn't too pretentious, over priced, or weird. The Cutting Edge was recommended to me by a friend with cool looking hair. He told me to go see the girls at the Cutting Edge. I walked in and was greeted by Brandi...i was nervous, but told her what I had in mind. She cut it up way better than I could've hoped for. She spent a lot of time and it only cost me $25. Can Walk In I have never used this salon for hair but have used them repeatedly for waxing. They are always willing to take me as a walk in and sometimes offer coupons in local student publications. They are friendly and do a good job. The only downside is that the place is always smoky, as they apparently allow their employees to smoke in the building. Their proximity to NCSU makes dropping in easy for students. Would go here again.
