Came here six years ago after my last barber threatened his girlfriend on speakerphone mid-haircut. Full volume, full drama, scissors still moving. I did not go back. I have been coming to Danny at Cutthroat ever since, and he is, without question, the best barber in Houston. I left work early to make sure I was showing up on time for my appointment at 5:00pm. On their website it notes that showing up more than 10 mins late means you pay 100% of the cost and you put a credit card in to book the appointment so it’s easily enforced. When I showed up at 5pm I was told the barber was running 15-20 mins behind which is a little annoying but not too bad. Needed a cut while my regular barber was unavailable - Mikey had same day availability and I’ve never had someone who seems to know so much about hair. He did an amazing job of explaining everything to me and you could really tell he takes the time to understand each individual’s unique hair to get the best cut. I was really impressed.
