Pathetic, greedy, failures in understanding customer service. Parts personnel sold me wrong part even with all equipment model, serial and specific part numbers. Had to return on my dime to exchange. RESTOCK charge!!!! Then in review of the receipt, personnel failed to credit me correct amount for the actual less expensive part. Had I not checked on site, Cutter would have taken me for more $$$. No longer a customer.

I worked there for many years and ran service department. In 8 years I seen a lot of shady stuff in sales. I was let go the first time because I had to have neck surgery from 3 slipped disc I did at work but paid for myself on my insurance. Me and another guy carried bills ford 351 short block engine from his trailer into shop . Because Irma was about to hit Tampa. This was the worst purchasing experience and customer service. Save yourself the hassle, money, and disrespect. The owner, Bill, swindled me for $550. He employs the slimiest techniques and when confronted becomes unresponsive. Cutter doesn't offer the lowest price but Bill agrees to match competitors' prices if you find them. We agreed on a machine and price and he urged me to fill out my own financing application online without coming in to his store. I spoke with Bill from Cutter Power Equipment over the phone. I asked him if he could beat a competitors price. Bill said he wouldn't and then went off on me and hung up without giving me a chance to reply. This is not how you gain potential customers. If you can't beat a price that's fine but I can guarantee you that he lost any future business that I may have done with him.
