Receptionists do an excellent job preventing you from seeing a doctor. Will not schedule you an appointment.
Do not rely on this clinic, it should be a last resort. They will not listen to what you need, and will insist on pursuing the bare minimum treatment. I can not think of a single time I or anyone I have spoken to in the community has received adequate care at this facility. You will need to see another Dr anyway, so save your time and make the trip to Bangor.
I am shocked at their low google rating ! I normally go to Northern Light in Brewer, and they couldn’t see me last week. They let me know I could go to the Orono location and almost didn’t. I received EXCELLENT care, everyone was kind and my exam was very detailed! I came in for stomach pain and they even did an EKG to rule out heart issues, since heart issues present differently in women. Luckily my heart was not the issue, but wow, it’s good to know. Every time I’ve gone in for an emergency where I am unable to access transportation I am immediately turned down. There will be no cars in the parking lot and no students on campus and apparently they still have “no appointments”? Girl I have nail glue in my eye what do you expect me to do, drive?
