This is one of my favorite Charlotte restaurants. The food is interesting, distinctive and fun. The wait staff is on top of their game and I also like their wine by the glass choices. It is also a place where you can go dressed up or down, which is very nice. I have probably been 20 times and I have never been disappointed.
Romance no more – High expectations for a great dining experience were crushed by this neighborhood favorite. AND, that's what it is...nothing more...a nice neighborhood place to EAT not Dine! . Customshop - good food, not so great service – We have been to CustomShop 2 times now - both times on a living social deal. The food is great - artisan, well crafted and thought out, using local ingredients whenever possible. But as you know, it isn't just about the food, it is also about the service and the experience. And both times, ours wasn't so great. We were in and out of the restaurant in 45 minutes to 1 hour for a 3 course meal - talk about rushed!!! Is Charlotte the new Portland, Oregon? – Coming from Portland,Oregon which even the New York Times proclaims a mecca of local and handcrafted food, (which is sometimes only sort of true!) I was delighted to find such great food in Charlotte. Highly recommended by family and foodie friends, it did not disappoint. We did all Starters and nothing was short of delicious. Love the bread ..yum – taste
One of the BEST Restaurant's in Charlotte – This place is AWESOME. Back when they served lunch I had the most INCREDIBLE sandwich there. (First time I've ever used a fork and knife to eat a sandwich, such a beautiful presentation. Still have dreams about it.) Sad they don't do lunch anymore but I gotta tell ya, the dinners are off the charts as well. Beautiful atmostphere, excellent service and wine presentation and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend as good spot for romantic date night. Prices were reasonable.
