In September we had work done on overhead door. A black plastic piece fell off this week so we called them back. We paid over $700 to the technician who came but has since been fired. Apparently he did not do any of the work which we paid for in September. Now they say they will come tomorrow-a different technician- but going to charge another $200. I feel it is their responsibility to make the work good and to pursue the technician fo reimbursement. Not happy.
This may have been the worst experience I have ever had dealing with a home repair. The technician, while nice enough, didn't show up at the scheduled time around noon and didn't call. I called him and he said that he would be there and gave an approximate time. Again, he did not show and I received no call so I called again and he said again that he would be coming out, but wouldn't provide a time. Mr G***** was called and notified about job status. In our service industry it is very difficult to give someone an exact time. We try our best to respond to calls within 24 hours. Mr G***** was wanting a response faster than we could provide him. Other companies in the industry were telling customers 3-4 days before they could get to him. Sometimes jobs take much longer than expected and at times jobs can be very hard to schedule.
