Don't buy a Hy-Brid lift second hand. Most lift manufacturers will help troubleshoot when the problem goes beyond the manuals, but not Hy-Brid (now known as AXCS). These goobers will refer you to Sunstate or a repair center instead of taking 30 seconds to tell you where to look, claiming that if you get hurt working on your own equipment it's their liability... That's not how it works. Also not paying $200/hr to fix a used $2000 lift.
These things are SICK. I use over 100 lifts each year, and recently these guys have started showing up when we rent. They are by far the smoothest, most precise scissor lift I have EVER operated... Everything you typically complain about on models by other manufacturers is totally fixed. The platform extension feels like butter, the unit is totally silent, and the joystick and motion just feels like it was designed by someone who has put in their 1000hrs on a lift.
