Worst insurance ever. To many hands in the pot. Hard to meet your out of pocket max, hard to get specialty meds, balance bills process is a joke, Credit is crap and can't get a home loan now because all my medical debt is at collection because the hospital isn't wanting to negotiate on discounted rate or insurance isn't wanting to pay hospital for my cancer treatment. Phenomenal team of helpful, knowledgeable, patient human beings. There’s nothing fun or wonderful about insurance and navigating the system ESPECIALLY here in Southern California. It’s infuriating how little providers are willing to do to follow up with your out-of-state insurance. The onus is always on the patient to prove, verify, and follow up multiple times…just to be told, “sorry, we are not in network with your insurance company” I have had the pleasure of talking to their agent, April, on multiple occasions and she ha... read more

Sarah H has been amazing to work with! Ohio Health had made errors on a couple of my bills, and Sarah went above and beyond by doing a deep dive into the issue and contacting their billing department directly to resolve it. It’s taken months for them to reach the conclusion that a claim for funds withheld from my income at a former employer should be denied. This decision was after they assured me in writing that the check was on its way. Awful service and questionable claims handling.
