Coolant Price to Install FTS has outrageous prices. My Carrier heat pump was, according to their Tec, 4lbs low on coolant R-410A. I was billed $49.00 truck fee to my door but what ticked me off was the $233.00 on top of that just to add 4 lbs. of R-410 Freon. Which worked out to cost me $58.25 per pound and this guy hadn't so much as taken one screw out of my unit to look inside and there was holding this outrageous bill.
