Can I just say how awesome the cakes are at Janet's Bakery!? I have ordered several cakes for various occasions and they never disappoint! I most recently ordered a surprise cake for my parent's anniversary, it was absolutely beautiful- above and beyond my expectations! By far the best cakes here in town. Have been getting our cakes there for 30 years and have always been very satisfied with the results.
My wedding cake was beautiful and delicious. All guests were talking about how good it was. I had a fall wedding so I ordered the pecan cake with cream cheese frosting so amazing!
I’m not so sure I would label this as a “bakery”. I was a little disappointed hearing that our wedding cake was made from a box mix cake…. We bought our wedding cake from Janet’s about seven years ago, I recently came in to place an order for a cake and asked which cakes were homemade. The girl told me only their carrot cake is homemade and everything else is from a box….. As great work as Janet’s does I’m honestly disappointed in this and will take my business elsewhere.

In response to your comment Makayla. We have used the same mixes for twenty eight years. We have had great sucess with them and have never changed. We do offer many other thing that are made from scratch. We have never claimed to make all of our cakes from scratch either. I hope you would reconsider going elsewhere for your cake needs. We do apologize for any disappointment.
Janet's did an amazing job on my Wedding cake this past Saturday! I had one meeting with Nicole a few months ago. I told her how important the cake was to me on my big day! I was very specific on how I wanted everything and she was so awesome with it. She gave great suggestions and was wonderful with putting my mind at ease.
