I contacted Custom Bath about 6 months ago to get a quote for our bath remodel. At the time the owner, Jeff, came out and measured our bath space and said that there would be no problems with his product fitting into our space. The product he sells is a very good product so we gave him our business. My husband did the demolition on our old bath, leaving only the studs showing for the shower insert to be installed. In situation's when a homeowner does the demolition of their existing shower to save a little money, we have know idea what we are running into with the status of the framing where the new shower is to be installed. The product we use is very rigid with little margin for the walls being out plumb and square. To correct this we must rebuild or rework the framing so that the finished product looks professional after the project is completed. Ordered a custom shower pan through my plumber. Went to show room to review. Was quoted a price and a delivery date. Plumber ordered pan and paid in full. Delivery date came and went. Postponement after postponement. When I asked Jeff why the pan wasn't ready, basically said what do you want me to do? I said deliver pan in time as promised. He offered the plumbers money back. Mr. ****** has left out a couple of details that may be have improved his experience with me and Custom Bath Solutions. First, was his attitude when he made the phone call to me. He was furious with me even before I answered the phone having talked to his plumber already. I find it incredibly difficult to find any resolution when a customer, or anybody for that matter, when they are in this state and refuse to hear the other side.
