Brought in some old control arms that I was having difficulty getting the bushing sleeves out. They pressed them out for me and I was able to continue with my build. New rear control arm bushing and my old 4Runner doesn’t wobble with every bump. Little spendy, but I called on Friday and noon and I was told to bring them in right away, so short notice on a Friday afternoon, I don’t mind paying for the convenience. I might bring in the front lower control arms and see if they’ll press out those bushings too.
Custom Auto failed to put new brakes, rotors and calipers on my high performance car (custom Ford Taurus SHO) correctly. Long story short and several trips back to them over about a month. ( $1700+ later) I had have my car towed to Ford in Olympia after the brakes got extremely hot on my way to the Ford dealership following my last effort and trip to custom. So I know a lot about so called mechanic shop's and this place is a joke that will only install parts that they sell you so that they can mark them up and charge you way more than needs to be spent on repairs. I was seeing if they could reinstall my compound turbo's that I just had rebuilt because they were perfectly fine just needed a rebuild and fresh seals no point in spending 6k when I could spend under a grand and had them modified my builder warrantys all his work and I got told we don't install customer supplied parts... read more
