What an incredible lodge!! The details are beyond comprehension from the gorgeous and intricate woodwork carvings in the logs, to the quality bikes for the guest to use, compound bows, fishing rods/and fish cleaning and storage/shipping. The point is, they have thought of absolutely everything. The gorgeous furniture and comfortable beds, guest toiletries and even curling irons (if you so desire). We had a grouop of 29 family members and it was an awesome trip. Jenny and Shane were great hosts. Fishing in the Kenai river and Gulf of Alaska were fun. We did some hiking, white water rafting and sea kayaking in addtion to fishing trips. Sockeye fishing from Cusack's dock was excelent. The breakfast chef accomadated our frequent early morning departures. Just a great all around trip. I highly recommend staying at Cusack's on the Kenai.

Great place to relax and get in some salmon fishing on the Kenai river. Lots of space and the owners bend over backwards to make us feel at home. Recommend reservations well in advance.
The best part of our 15-day trip to Alaska was definitely the four nights we spent at Cusacks. Not only is the lodge beautiful and the setting perfect, the staff is phenomenal and made us feel like family. From scheduling excursions to making sure we were well fed with a hearty breakfast each morning, no detail was overlooked. A fantastic lodge set in a spectacular setting. We rented this lodge for the past week and our son's wedding was held here on Monday. The lodge is so comfortable and well equipped. No detail is overlooked. Everything we needed was here and it is absolutely perfect for large groups. Cusack's is the nicest lodge I have stayed at in Alaska. We try to take the family to Alaska every year for vacation (the only true vacation I get with my busy schedule). The fishing is unparralled, the lodge is impeccable, and the people at the lodge make for the most comfortable and welcoming experience you could hope for, a truly great place to relax and appreciate nature.
