Don't go if you want to pick apples. Learned when I got there that you have to buy this tiny bag for five bucks and are given limited varieties to pick. I asked when honey crisp would be available to pick and was told they don't allow you to pick them because they then would not have enough to sell in the store.? Guess I just to the grocery store to buy them then? This is a tourist trap. My kids had fun so I give it a fair rating. We won't be back. I made my first visit to Curtis Orchard and Pumpkin Patch yesterday for a gig (for the Spirit of Oz costumed characters). I have the say that I was both charmed by the family-feel of the farm and impressed by how well it is maintained and run. It is odd to me to see reviews here where guests are complaining and saying the staff is rude, as every staff member I came into contact with was friendly, pleasant, and welcoming.
