My family and I always have a fantastic time when we go for picking apples in the fall. It's always really busy on the weekends but that's a good thing. The apple doughnuts are really good and the cider in a good way to wash it down. My only complaint is there has to be a better way of checking out all those people, getting through the store can be a nightmare, especially with a family and a wagon.

Business response:

Hi, Matt! Thanks for taking the time to send such a meaningful review. We really appreciate your words!

Use to love go here as a family now it is so expensive everything cost money including playing in the play ground. We also did a field trip the movie they could not get to work and the lady doing it seemed put off at the variety of ages our homeschool group had not impressed at all and won't be returning.

Business response:

Amber, thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. I apologize for your experience, particularly with the tour. Although I can't give you back the time you spent, I would like to offer you a free wagon ride and personalized tour for your group if you wish that I myself am more than happy to give you. I understand your concerns with the Play-All-Day Putt 'N Play costing money, but we do offer access to the pumpkin patch, Munchkinland (younger kids), and our Petting Zoo areas at no cost. The price also includes all-d... read more

This past weekend was our 1st visit to Curtis Orchard and we had a party of 10(including 6 kids). We definitely found all the activities very fun and will be back!! Lots to do and see! The kids did everything and loved it all....especially the face painting lady (she was so polite and took her time to paint all 6 children exactly what they requested, beautifully I might add). We ate at the cafe and everything we ordered was so delicious(the kids really enjoyed the little train above the dinning area too). Bravo for entertain... read more

My family and I have been here several times over the years and use to really enjoy our visits. These days it's become sort of an amusement park, which might be okay for some I guess. I really don't like that they make everyone going out to the orchard to pick apples buy a bag, including children. So you can't just get a bag and take your family back to fill it, everyone under a certain height has to buy a bag with a minimum of $5.00. It seems that everything here costs money now (tokens that you purchase) including some pla... read more

Business response:

I appreciate you taking the time to share your opinion, Bryan. As a family-run business, it's always been our desire to provide a great experience to everyone who visits here, so I want you to know we take all concerns shared very seriously. We did have to go the bag-per-person route this year for our Pick-Your-Own apple experience as a way to respond to significant issues with apple tree abuse and roughhousing that occurred in years past. However, we did build in some price breaks: It is free for kids 36 inches and shorter ... read more
