Went to their emergency room for my boyfriend the other night. He had a lump that was oozing out of his back and we were worried it was infected. This facility did not do mandated reporting w domestic violence assault that involved their own employee, who was charged and plead guilty. When notified of their negligence, their follow up afterward was more than disappointing.
Curry medical center doesn't believe in preventive medication, instead they judge you for getting preventive care. Had an extremely bad experience where I received some cuts, visited the center and was left bleeding for two hours only to be told nothing is wrong (didn't even clean the wounds) and just sent away without any necessary vaccination, just tetanus and antibiotics (that you can't get anywhere in the town). Abhorrent, sickening behavior by every member of the night staff at this “hospital”. To start, the ER doctor, Dr. Geoffrey Smith, is clearly ancient and had no idea how to manage my acute UC symptoms. While administering two (2) full bags of sodium lactate, they promised I’d be receiving a methylprednisolone infusion to battle the inflammation and pain. It never came. ER definitely a very good experience. Traveling nurse Synthia was incredible: took care of us in the wee hours of the night, comforted us and narrated everything that was going to happen.
