Dr. Smith is the most compassionate Vet I have ever had for my pets. It’s not just important for him to make the 4 legged member of your family well again, he makes it his practice to explain what’s going on with your fur baby, and it’s important to him to educate his clients on situations that we’ve not had to deal with prior. I have been taking my animals to John Smith/Curlew animal hospital for over 4 years. The staff is amazing and you couldn't ask for a better, more straightforward vet than Mr. Smith. Pricing is right in line with most other vets but the service is 10x better!

Over the last 20 years, Dr. Smith and his family at Curlew Animal Hospital have cared for both my Golden girls and me when I needed comfort. He has been to my house twice when 2 of my Goldens had to go to Heaven. He and his staff have been there for us from the 8 week old puppy check, to the emergency visits and to the saying good-bye . My 2 Goldens now are 9 1/2 and 2 and if any need arises they are there. And with us , the need seems to arise a lot!! Over the past 22 years, Dr Smith and his wonderful staff have provided the utmost care and concern for our 3 Schipperke's. You will not find a more compassionate and knowledgeable Veterinarian. Words can not express our heartfelt gratitude for all they have done for Taz, Zat and Zulu.
