Alicia was the absolute best in the game, most importantly kind. She gets the curly hair life and is great at educating on how to keep it healthy. Honestly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had as a curly hair girl.
I had a really bad experience with Didi. She rushed through my appointment, didn’t even dry my hair, and overall made me feel like she didn’t care about the quality of the service. She was also late and didn’t take the time to listen to what I wanted, leaving me with a haircut I really don’t like. On the other hand, Alicia is amazing and I highly recommend booking with her instead. If you’re looking for someone professional who takes their time and makes sure you leave happy, definitely go to Alicia — just avoid Didi.
James, Sean, and their salon & staff are great. I went to another curl-specific salon first, and I regret it - I paid over $500 for first appt & product, both of which I was unhappy with. So glad I decided to try curl envy instead - and I’ll never go anywhere else (at least while I’m rocking my curls). We had an amazing experience at Curl Envy Salon with stylist Kiana. This was my 7-year-old daughter’s very first haircut, and I could not have asked for a better stylist or salon. For years, I kept her curls in protective styles because I didn’t know how to manage her multiracial curls. She always wanted to wear her natural curls out, and Kiana made that dream come true. Curl Envy Salon is awesome! I travel 30 minutes to get there and it is totally worth it. I see Jennifer for haircuts to encourage my curls as well as color, and she is awesome! But really everyone in the salon seems to produce gorgeous results with curly hair. You will not be disappointed with the services you receive here!!
