I have been here around 5-6 times. They are usually fantastic, but the last time I went (last week) I asked just for a touch up of my hair and to cut to my shoulders. They ended up cutting 3 inches above my shoulders, and they completely got rid of my maintained style. The cut itself looks fine, but as a curly hair salon, I expect they should be able to recognize that hair will curl up more and they shouldn’t cut right at the intended length. I know hair grows back, but I just wanted an inch off.

Alicia was the absolute best in the game, most importantly kind. She gets the curly hair life and is great at educating on how to keep it healthy. Honestly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had as a curly hair girl.

I had a really bad experience with Didi. She rushed through my appointment, didn’t even dry my hair, and overall made me feel like she didn’t care about the quality of the service. She was also late and didn’t take the time to listen to what I wanted, leaving me with a haircut I really don’t like. On the other hand, Alicia is amazing and I highly recommend booking with her instead. If you’re looking for someone professional who takes their time and makes sure you leave happy, definitely go to Alicia — just avoid Didi.

James, Sean, and their salon & staff are great. I went to another curl-specific salon first, and I regret it - I paid over $500 for first appt & product, both of which I was unhappy with. So glad I decided to try curl envy instead - and I’ll never go anywhere else (at least while I’m rocking my curls).
