I booked an appointment for 4:30 I sat for 10 minutes then 20 then 30, Mind you this is an appointment I booked in order to avoid this. Yes I understand sometimes you can get caught up with prior client but if that’s the case please communicate to the person you have sitting in the lounge area. Saw a review about Didi and had to comment my experience. She did a terrible job. The hair of my siblings and I were cut unevenly. I’m lucky I was able to cover it up. She was absolutely so rude from the beginning and sassed me about multiple questions I had, and was upset that I was quiet. Also, when I was put under the hair dryer, they turned it up so hot my earrings burned my skin and left marks, and my scalp was on fire. After recently moving back to the deep South, one of my biggest concerns was whether I could find a salon that does curly cuts. Frankly, I don't see as many naturalistas rocking their curls as I see them covering, hiding, or manipulating them. And I definitely don't see any shapely cuts that highlight the beautiful uniqueness of YOUR curl. I should’ve read the reviews but why would I when I’ve had a great experience with different stylists at this place throughout the years? Big mistake booking Didi. I only booked her because it was the closest date I could get with the desired time. The reviews are true. Very unwelcoming, irritable and little care about my cut. If the attitude was because I came in 9 mins late then I would’ve rather been turned away than to have a terrible experience.
