I love Curl Power. I have seen both Emma and Tess over the past few years, and they are great. They listen, work with your particular needs, educate, and take their time. I have very thick, long, textured, and processed hair, and have literally been shamed by other stylists by "how long" and how much effort it takes to work with my hair. Never the case at Curl Power. A very respectful, inclusive, and wonderful place to get your "difficult" hair needs met. Very happy - and my hair looks great :)
I got my hair cut by Emma almost two weeks ago and I’m so in love. This is the best my hair has been in years! She gave my hair exactly what it needed cut-wise and gave me great product recommendations as well as styling tips. I’ve implemented them at home and they’ve been game changers. I won’t be letting anyone else touch my hair anytime soon.
My experience with this salon, and specifically with Emma, was negative. I asked for no dramatic changes while keeping the length, but I did not ask to leave several long strands showing the previous length; now this $140 haircut looks strange. The post-cut treatment dried out my hair, and it feels like straw on my head, with no elasticity. One star for the effort, zero for the result. Upd: I have been contacted personally and have to say - 5 stars for addressing the issue.
Always done right when I go here
I had a haircut and highlights done by Rosie, and she did an amazing job. I walked in looking like Weird Al and walked out channeling early-season Carrie Bradshaw. The cut and color were exactly what I needed, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommend!
