The company we were using to treat our lawn spread it with a chemical that destroyed a lot of the grass. Sod was not required for the entire lawn - only a portion. After checking Angie's list, I found a review for Curb Appeal Landscaping and the member's problem was the same as mine (he only needed sod for a portion of his lawn) His comments about Curb Appeal were that the company gave him a fair price for the partial installation whereas other companies quoted prices that were "out of the ballpark." For the cost of the job, I feel like I got a great deal for installing Fescue sod with this sod install service . It probably was not the cheapest you can find but still below average cost of a job this size. In the past I made the mistake of hiring random cheap labor who quoted me what sounded like the least expensive deal. Little did I know, that the soil required conditioning and more than just placing a piece of sod on the existing soil. Take my advice so you don't have to learn the hard way like I did. First class service. I never could get grass to grow well in my front yard and called these guys after researching on the internet. Per their recommendation they trimmed back some large trees to allow more sunlight in and allowing the new bermuda sod to get the light it needs. Reasonable pricing and great job.
