History Established in 1929. The restaurant has been here at the same location since 1929. It was Heaten's Eaten's, then Price's, then the Cupps bought it in 1947. Many people have work at the cafe but only two of the ladies that worked for The Cupps was lucky enough to buy the business. And they both kept the business the same as the previous owners. Cupp’s is my favorite place to eat in Waco. Great food great people.
Hot , fresh off the grill double double with bacon, lettuce, pickles, onion, tomatoes and mustard (double patties double cheese) is to die for. Fresh fries and all served piping hot with Texas charm. Don’t pass this place up!!
We have gone there since I was a kid and I'm 72. Best burger in town or anywhere. Love everything about it. Great people.
