Absolutely atrocious company, I pay exorbitant premium on my auto loans through my credit union and they had a cyber attack supposedly and it's day 45 of them being, never again would I trust them with my insurance needs ever

TruStage / CUNA, in my experience, sold protection and delivered procedural escape artistry. My AD&D claim was not just denied; it was handled in a way that felt fundamentally untrustworthy. They appeared to lean on reasoning outside the true policy language and, from my perspective, even misrepresented my doctor’s medical evaluation to support the denial. That is not good-faith insurance handling. That is a polished corporate version of ducking responsibility when coverage actually matters. One star.

If at all possible avoid doing business with CUMIS Insurance Society, Inc. May 27, 2021 while leaving the local State Employees Credit Union I was knocked down on the hard tile floor by the opening of a heavy door. I’ve spent over $12,000 in medical treatments, I still suffer pain every day. CUMIS has not reimbursed me one cent. They have lied and cheated this entire time.
