I’m a nurse but was so scared when faced with my retinal tare. Cumberland Valley took me under their wing and made me feel calm. I’ve worked with many surgeons and Dr Warrow is by far the most personable and best bedside manner I’ve come across. He took the time in his busy schedule to answer all my questions I had without hesitation. He treated me with such care and respect. Thank you so much to Dr Warrow and all his staff.
*Just an update, I got lucky and my previous retina specialist began participating with my current insurance. I ran back there and transferred my care out of this place and I’m so happy I did. I was avoiding my appt’s because of how much I dreaded the staff there… not good. This place really needs a revamp of their staffing. The culture is not okay and it shows. Absolutely terrible staff. You go in because you can't see and they hand you a pile of new patient forms to fill out, AND YOU CAN'T SEE. Why did they not send them to me BEFORE the appointment to fill out??? The very nice lady at the other counter read them to me to fill them out, and SHE DIDN'T WORK FOR CVR! The receptionist that worked there was entirely rude and not helpful. I ended up taking my paperwork, requesting that they delete my info from their computer, and left without seeing the doctor. Was there for 2hours for a 20 minute visit.
Find another set of Doctors. Waiting room filled with 20+ people waiting for 2+ hours or longer for a scheduled appointment. 3 Doctors at this location 1 day a week that obviously double or triple book. LOUSY!
